Course Description
This captain's license allows mariners to operate for-hire vessels, of up to 100 gross tons, and carry 6 or fewer passengers plus crew. Commonly used for fishing charters, eco tours, sunset cruises, sailing charters, and more! Our OUPV course begins on Saturday and concludes the following Sunday, for a total of 9 days. Class sessions will begin at 9am and end at 4:30pm each day, for a total of 54 hours of class time, plus examinations. All materials are provided and we give the test! Your tuition covers: - 9 days of instruction - Exam fees - FREE use of charting tools - FREE assistance filling out all Coast Guard paperwork PAYMENT OPTIONS: 1) Pay in-full: pay $995 online to reserve your seat 2) 50% deposit: $495 due at checkout. Please bring the remaining $500 (cash or check) to the first day of class.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel enrollment up to 7 days prior to start date to receive a refund. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 7 days of start date. To avoid loss of deposit, enrollment may also be transferred into a future class free of charge. All cancellations will incur a 3% cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding.
